Its only just been approved for use so its unlikely anyone will have completed a course yet. The results are good - but not that much better than for the existing methods ie patches etc or zyban.

Personally i'm currently using patches and am surprised at how well i'm currently doing. I'd recommend you try them, even if you supplement it with chewing gum initially if you have any cravings. My boyfriend is also on patches - he smoked 30 plus a day till 2 weeks ago and is doing great - he says has not really had many cravings either!!

GO on if we can do it so can you!! Good luck x

I'm not a smoker but I saw an local tv show where they were discussing it and interviewing people who have tried it. It sounds great! The people who tried it were so enthusiastic about the results. Some had failed with other methods (the patch, etc) yet were successful with this. Good luck!

Champix is a terrific new effect method to quit smoking. Though I haven't tried it, many have...and they have quit smoking easily and painlessly with few side effects. Chantix acts at sites in the brain affected by nicotine and may help those who wish to give up smoking in two ways: by providing some nicotine effects to ease the withdrawal symptoms and by blocking the effects of nicotine from cigarettes if they resume smoking.

If a person does smoke while taking CHANTIX, CHANTIX may block the nicotine from binding and lessen nicotine's effects.
