This is really weird. My great grandfather, Matthew, who actually lived in the middle east many, many years ago...or so he claims...has always been a bit of an oddball...It has gotten worse and worse. He claims that he is over 2000 years young and that he was one of Jesus's followers...indeed he penned much of the New Testament...according to his talking. I don't beleive this nonsense...or at least I didn't...until I found some odd scriptures in a shoe box...with some kind of weird writing....I took it to a theology college...and they studied if for months...and now they want to ask me a whole pile of questions...they keep wanting to talk to my great grandfather too...What do I do? Could it be true???

This is a new one. Very inventive.

There are two ways you can about this. One is for you to smuggle him away to some safe location. I recomdend Wyoming or Idaho, as there really isn't anything there, and hardly any population to speak of.
After that, I would make sure that you get all the writings back from the college, and then refuse to speak to them. Effectively isolation both you and your Great Grandfather.

The second is tell the college that you want the papers back and then attempt to sell them. I'm sure the Vatican would pay well, but in the end you might end up making more off of E-bay.
Then smuggle your great grandfather away to Idaho or Wyoming just for the heck of it.

Know the truth about the condition of the dead. (Ec 9:5&10) The living are conscious that they will die but the dead are conscious of nothing at all...(10) there is no work, devising, wisdom or knowledge. Psm 146:3,4 The spirit goes out, he goes back to the ground, his thoughts perish. The apostles are part the anointed class, they are already in heaven to work side by side with Jesus. This is the Kingdom that we all pray for...you know, let your Kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. As in any Kingdom there is a government and subjects. Jesus and the anointed are the government and "the meek will inherit the earth" Ps 37:11 and Psams 37:29 "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and will reside FOREVER upon it." or Isa 45:18 God didn't create the earth simply for nothing but to be inhabited. These are the subjects to be ruled. Your great grandfather my be suffering from mental confusion. Be very careful to not buy into it. Love and comfort him but don't take everything he does as fact. The demons use many different things to confuse us and keep us from having a close relationship with God.
Matthew is not here, he is with Jesus in the Kingdom.

No. The only apostle still on the earth is John who was granted the priviledge of remaining until Christ returned. Peter was jealous and chastised by Christ for feeling that way. John had chosen to do a greater work.
