I've had glasses for about two years now, and before, I could see pretty good, but not perfect, so the eye doctor gave me glasses. Well, NOW, I can't even make out anything that's 10 feet in front of me!

The prescription could have been filled incorrectly and you are wearing bad glasses. Also, your eyes could have just gotten worse. You need an eye exam once a year. Let the eye Dr. check your glasses to see if you got what he prescribed.

If you wear glasses all the time, your brain becomes accustomed to them. When you're no longer wearing them, you can't see as well because the brain takes awhile to readjust to the blurred image. Over time, if you don't wear your glasses, your eyes/brain readjust to allow you to see somewhat clearer.

Your eyes are no worse, unless your prescription is changing, you're just not used to seeing without glasses anymore.

I've heard of that. Glasses don't fix anything, they just alleviate symptoms and I have heard that they can make your eyes lazy which is why your vision gets worse.

yes and dont wait to long to go back and see the doctor it could possibly damage your eyes further, something is wrong and your eyes need to be seen about,if it is not your glasses it could be something else causing it .................good luck

you can try eye doing exercises to improve your vision. I recently started doing eye exercises to try to improve my vision. I created a blog where I record my progress with the exercises.

I recently saw some improvement. Other people (who have also experienced improvements) have posted comments about their experiences as well. You can check it out at: http://improvingmyeyesight.com/blog

Hope this helps...
