We have a chocolate lab/Weimeraner mix we got from the pound, and she's the most loving dog you can imagine. She is very bright, too--she responds to commands we didn't even know we were training her with. When we first got her, we kept her crated during the day, and I'd come home at noon to take her out. I must have looked at my watch and said "It's time to go," because now whenever we say "it's time," she goes to her cage! She has diabetes, and I have to give her insulin twice a day. When she hears me mixing it, she goes to where I give it to her, sits down, and sticks out her hip for me. If it's the wrong side, I tell her, and she turns around!

I love Chihuahuas! They are so adorable. Every time I see one I get all mooshy and say, "Awwwww!" I can't help it. I have a little boy named Frankie. He is a rescue and because of this he is so grateful and loving. He and I really bonded. He is like my baby. He even loves wearing clothes. I like to take him where ever the public will let me. He does the funniest things that I can't properly describe online. Last night he was in a hyper mood, which is rare actually, he is usually very laid back. He was running around the coffee table and out of the room and back again, over and over. All my mom's Yorkies were just staring at him which is strange because they are usually the more hyper ones. But Frankie gives me joy and love every day.

I have a miniature Schnauzer named Sam E Bear. He is an absolute doll. He is so smart and adorable. Schnauzer are full of personality. He uses body language and barks to tell whatever he has to say. Don't smack my dog because he will smack you back. He will also take his paws and tap your hand to get you to pet him. I have never seen another breed so expressive. He loves to throw his toys and play ball. right now he is napping after coming in from play time out side.

I love my Australian Shepherd. They are furry, intelligent and full of energy. I happen to prefer the larger breeds, but dont have the room. If I had a bigger house, and larger yard, I would love to have a Newfoundland and/or Irish Wolfhound. These breeds have a reputation of being big loveable and sweet breeds.

Mutts definately! I have a daschund/terrier mix from the pound. My parents liked the idea of calling her a dascherrier - like she is a designer dog or something. She has the most playful personality and loves just being loved and played with. Her name is Bonnie.

My favorite is the English Pointer because I have one. They are really fast, smart, funny, and spotty. My dog is the best one in the world and I love her to bits. I also really love mutts because that's what my dog Wilma was who died last week. She was a Border Collie Brittany mix. I'm gonna miss her so much. She is now in Heaven and I'll see her someday soon.

Great Dane...Freeway (black "little" girl) always thought she was a lap dog. She would saunter up to the couch or porch swing and lean against your leg for a scratch. If you ignored her, she would move closer and literally hike her hip onto your knee and lay across however many people are sitting beside you!! If you pushed her off, she would give you such a look as if to say, "What? Don't you love me?" It was soooooo cute. I miss her...
Blessings
