Honestly, I don't think 5'1" is tall at all not even for middle school. Don't worry about what your friend says. Besides, that isn't something a true friend should be saying to you. I think she may be a bit jealous of you. As you get older, you will be happy that you are tall. My wife is almost 5'10" and she had a great career in the modeling business. She says she was always the tallest girl in her class all the way through school. She never had a problem getting dates and neither will you. Just be yourself and be proud of who you are. Good luck to you.

How is 5'1 the statue of Liberty? I truely don't think 5'1 is really tall but it's a good height for an middle schooler, or soon to be one. Not to be mean but your friend must be really short for her age. She needs to stop making fun of you. I'm 5'0 and I don't even feel that tall. So what's the difference? I don't think 11-15 year olds should be dating honestly. Oh, and no I'm not an adult, I'm only 12 if you're wondering why I'm only 5'0.

Well... This IS a practical problem n most guys face it.... even I did..(i'm 20 now n Grown up 2.. :) Well.. its gotta do more wid the genetic factors more than anything else. Girls generally tend to grow taller earlier than guys. But their growth stops at an earlier age (around 16 yrs). Guys on d other hand grow until they're 20 n reach heights greater than girls in most cases. So dont panic... Go wear ur best attitude(dont overdo it though...) n get ur gal.. She'll surely come along... N u'll grow tall soon enough pal..

Be at IT.. All d best!! :D

Middle school guys are intimidated by every kind of girl. Smart ones, pretty ones, tall ones, short ones. It takes the weaker sex some time to catch up. But tall girls are a big hit later in life. I'm sure you'll get dates - and any man that is intimidated by you is not worth your time.

Soon, the guys will hit their growth spirt and want a taller, more mature looking girl. Maybe you should worry about finding a new friend rather than guys being intimadated...just wait until high school! That's when the fun begins!!

of course middle school boys are intimidated by girls, not just tall girls.
5'1" doesn't make you a green giant you seem average to me but
hey as long as those boys don't mess with you. {in a bully sort of way of course}

If a guy is intimidated via you, he's probable no longer the ultimate guy for you besides... yet yeah, maximum adult men are intimidated via tall women. basically look ahead to the single that has some backbone.

Well, alot of boys in middle school are tall. They will grow, but it urkrs them when people are taller then them, especially when itsa girl because they have to look up to them instead of us looking up to them. Its a process, but it doesn't really matter whose taller than who. As long as you like the person for who they are!
