I think that there is a chance that I could do it, the drinking part that is. I have been told that I'm a pretty fast drinker, and I really do love Car bombs and Jager shots. I however haven't heard of "a bass". I think maybe I could do it now that I had a chance to think about it, I might not beat you but I would give it a try.

I can drink like a man, if by that you mean I can drink responsibly and enjoy myself without being self-destructive. I would challenge you if we met at a bar, absolutely. I would take the Bass Ale, take a sip as you ingested massive quantities of alcohol in 8 seconds, then laugh quietly as you were sick or passed out an hour later, as I was paying for my beer and getting ready to drive myself home, legally. I can't win at your game, I guess I can't "drink like a man", sorry.

I think drink is not a competition.Drink is an adjunct to a decent meal in good company and which helps to promote witty conversation and conviviality.

No such thing as being able to "drink like men". It's an excuse. And a pre-excuse for some guys NOT to talk to women, try and date them, and of course deliver a package for extended OT later on. (You can say, you were too buzzed.) My advice for you, is to relax and stop thinking drinking is a contest. It isn't. Talk, if you want to be social. (Costs less, too.) Find something else about yourself that will gain you acceptance -- other than drinking. PS - Grow up, sooner than later.

Back in the day I may have been able to hang with you.Now,a couple beers will do maybe on the weekend.I have to drive to the city just to get beer.Dry county,jesus you know.
