If it is acne, then you need to see a dermatologist, I had it and it got worse and worse and I wish I had gone to doc earlier, ended up on accutane and it really really worked, just wish I had used it before I got scars...have had dermabration for those and it worked out pretty well but better to nip it in the bud and not get them in hte first place...the accutane was really good, but only your doc can say if your condition is bad enough to warrent going on it...I had no ill side effects but I have heard some exist...good luck...having complextion isssues really stinks and even though it
will pass that doesn't help when you look in the mirror...good luck...I feel for you..

the first thing is to stop using anything that could have caused the break-out. Any new product recently introduced in your routine can be the cause, but maybe it is hormonal (it's a possible symptom of PMS if you're getting near your period), maybe you ate too much junk food (even though there is no scientific evidence linking sugar and animal fat with acne, women just KNOW that it affects their skin) or maybe your skin is fed up with the chemicals from the personal care products you usually use that keep accumulating and trigger allergy.
Give your skin a break by switching to natural products. Jojoba oil makes a great moisturizer and make-up remover. Mineral water, herbal tea or hydrosol are great toners. Tea tree oil is the best blemish-fighter that exists. Clays and oatmeal make wonderful masks and scrubs. Try the links below to learn more about the chemicals found in the personal care products and about other home-made recipes.

Hi,
You may think I am NUT for suggesting this, but it works SO well for me that I feel like I should share it. I use Apple Cider Vinegar as a toner (after I wash my face)..use a cotton pad to apply. When that dries (watch out it may sting your eyes, so close them while it dries) apply Milk of Magnesia as a mask. This will dry and you will feel a tightening...I leave it on all night...
AND I also apply a thin layer of it before I put on my make-up....it makes an amazing primer.
So why might this work.. I think it is because the MOM and the ACV puts your skin at an alkaline PH level..making it impossible for bacterial to exist.
The cool thing about this is MOM and ACV are easy and cheap to get a hold of.
IVE TRIED SO MANY THINGS and spent a lot of money trying to find something that works..so far this has been amazing.

Proactive has the micro-beads that are think to exfoliate the exterior. that's the more serious ingredient for pimples. The roughness in the purifier in elementary words irritates pimples causing redness. i exploit Murad pimples spot, it really is somewhat expensive although that's the proper ingredient I easily have tried. do not use anymore harsh products. I easily were making use of Athens by technique of Korres organic products. it really is a White Tea fluid gel purifier. you may want to purchase it at Sephora or on-line. I easily were coping with pimples because the fifth grade and that i'm in my 0.33 365 days of school. It particularly sucks, yet i attempt to handle it. I easily have my sturdy days and undesirable and that i'm particular all and sundry does too. i exploit a washcloth with this purifier and this permits exfoliate.

Well here is what I have to say about all that. I was trying the ProActive and it was much to harsh for my face, and it caused it to break out worse then it ever did in my life. I am thinking that the products you are using now are too harsh for your face. Cut back on the washing and go to something more mild. Be sure to moisturize too!!
Also!! Something that may sound really weird...wipe down your mobile phone, your work phone, your house phone with rubbing alcohol. That could also be an irritant. I swear!!
Think about how much you use your phone, and how much bacteria lives in those common devices.

Switch to a mild cleanser - Cetaphyl (spelling) is one that my dermatologist recommended. You can find it in any Walgreens.
Sometimes your face will break out when you start using a new product. If it continues for a week, then you know that product is not for you. If you continue to have problems, go talk to a pro - Clinique does a great job as does Mary Kay (I use a ton of their stuff).

Nu Skin has a product that will help prevent and clear up existing breakouts and will not dry your skin out at all. It is very effective on blackheads, red skin, and there aren’t any shiny effects.
It's awesome! I am on hormone pills, so my skin changes all the time and I still never have a problem.

Hi! I know this sounds gross, but I have tried everything under the sun, even ProActiv and everything just made my face worse. Try just standing under the shower and letting the water hit your face. Its not abbrasive to your skin. It doesnt strip your face of the good oils in your skin, If you continue to dry out your skin its going to produce more oil which will clog your pores and cause breakouts! Its worked for me! Good Luck!!

I definatley agree with disinfecting all of your phones daily if you can. and I just heard on rachael ray yesterday to use hydrogen peroxide on your face, i put it on last night and this morning and the swelling of the pimple itself went down. so i'm going to try that for a couple days. I also used to be on ProActiv and it didn't work for me, dried out my face and made me break out worse. now i just use clean and clear and it worked at first but now is not, so i'm still searching for the "right thing" good luck!

Sometimes when you start a treatment, it will get worse before it gets better. The treatment is getting everything out of your skin then it will start to clear up and youll be find.
