I live in Denver, CO. It seems that anywhere and everywhere you go you have some jacka** on your butt when you drive. So if you get some slow person in front of you then you get some other guy behind you and hes all up in your back seat, it feels like. If I were to hit my brakes they are so close they will hit me!

It's not like I am going under the speed limit, I do the speed limit or 5-10 over! I think its complete crap when you are going way faster than you should and they are STILL on your a**!

So hit your brakes and let them smash your car---they'll get the ticket, they'll be at fault and you'll get a new car.

Yeah, I hate that. I've actually gotten out of my car at red lights and tapped on their window and asked them if they want a ride, since they're driving on my a$$ anyway....

Slow down a little so the next chance they have to pass hopefully they do. Don't do the "hit the brakes and make them hit you" thing. I've seen someone do that and they also were fined for causing the accident. That person actually said that he did it on purpose because he was being tailgated. There are definitely others who are teasing you in hopes that you will act to be in fault so they can get their piece of junk fixed at the cost of your insurance. Whatever happens, you will never be able to satisfy people who show that they don't care if they threaten you by being close to you with a 65 mph (probably faster) chunk of steel.

Think that's bad? Have you ever ridden in a car with someone that drives like that? Insane. I'm always tensing my legs up getting ready to plant my face into the dashboard.

I know that's not really an answer but whatever.

Mm. If I lived in Denver, CO. Girrrl... I'd be all up on your butt. I mean, you are cute, right?

Well I dunno. I mean if you're not cute I guess I'll keep my distance...

But anyways just "brake-check" anyone who tail-gates you.....
That means just pop your brake light a few times to let 'em know you're not happy about them up on you like that.
Better yet you could slow down to like 10mph and then flick them off whenever they finally go around you.........

They cant talk with you, so it is there way of asking you to go faster, or pull over and let them pass. More accidents are caused by slow drivers.

Well, if you're in the left lane and someone's riding your @$$, you should have common sense and courtesy and get in the right lane so he can go the speed he wants to go. If you're already in the right lane and someone's riding your @$$, screw him, he can go around.
