why do guys hate pretty boys?

have been called that a bunch in my lifetime. mostly by guys. girls will be polite or say yeah hes good looking. do guys do this because they think the guy has one over them or maybe more girls will be interested in him. why the hatred?

Not really hatred, just a misunderstanding/confusion. A large majority of men are brought up to tough/macho, and I would say 65% or more of women go for the macho or bad boy type of image. That has to do with basic human instinct, culture, and other factors.

So, when a man sees an attractive woman go after a guy with perfect hair, well manicured, designer clothes, etc.. It confuses us and some resentment is felt. Also, many times "pretty boys" possess characteristics that tend to be thought of as feminine, such as love for shopping and fashion, talking extremely proper, and spending time doing there hair. (Not trying to be sexist and I don't agree that these are designated women activities, but this is thought process in a large chunk of men)

So, we ask ourselves, "Why does she want a guy like that when he acts like a woman?" Hatred, no, jealously, insecurity, probably...

for my area, adult adult males dont hate 'particularly boys' only for wearing outstanding outfits. possibly you took the girl he loved, or act pompous or more desirable to them. Who would not hate a pompous ***, except for the *** himself? And no, putting forward a guy seems grotesque isn't gay: it really is basically disrespectful to stated human being. females call one yet another tramps each and every of the time: one insult does no longer ensure your sexuality.
