Scientists are usually looking for reliable data from which to base generalizations. Recent immigrants are more likely to follow a similar diet (foods locally available they were used to in their homeland), so dieticians can more reliably see the effect of the diet on health, more reliably that is than those of us that eat all sorts of cuisines and are harder to group.

Pepole from the west indies eat more healthier foods ,Ie mainly food that is boiled but in Britain the food is mainly fried and too much oil is used.
