Not the Christian aspects of Christmas no but then neither does fir trees, holly, berries, mistletoe etc. The whole thing is a fabrication of things borrowed from paganism.

When I lived in South Africa it was summer during Christmas time. It was kinda nice but not at the same time because when we would watch christmasy movies they all had snow which romanticized Christmas in a sense but since I moved to the states many years ago I get to enjoy white Christmases which makes the season feel so much more special and complete for me. I would say xmas tails and the history of xmas has tried to associate Christmas with snow but you have to keep in mind it doesn't always snow in that area and the snow sometimes misses the date lol

Snow is usualy linked with Christmas because the roots of Christmas traditions is found in europe.
The common tradition of decorating your house with Evergreens, Holly, Mistletoe has a link to snow because they were the only greens found "under the blanket of winter"(snow) during the pagan festival of Saturnala which is where the traditions come from.

NO! Christmas just happens to be in the winter-time (December). But Christmas has nothing to do with winter or snow. People in Florida, California and Hawaii celebrate Christmas, but they don't get any snow!

Cheers
