i have broken my remote for my goodmans x- pro dvd player / recorded and i can not use it at the moment i do have a universal remote control the number on it is BD-512 i lost the book so i am a bit stuck i would be very thank ful if some one could help me to get it working again i have tryed to use it manuly but i can't get it to work.

I`ve connected DVD Player to TV with the cable. Nothings appearing. Do i need to tune TV or something. Or should I connect all the coloured cables?
