Precisely. It's pretty much like when you were younger, and arguing with your parents, and they got tired of answering your questions. They would say, "Don't do that... because I said so."

The difference is your parents actually exist, they are your creators, and they wouldn't want to see you spend the rest of your existence in a fiery pit accompanied by unimaginable agony because you misbehaved.

Some people believe that life is a sort of test given by god to determine our spiritual worth and destination. If that is true, then God is a really crappy test maker. He has failed to establish a baseline and control for confounds. Everyone is taking a different test, so the results mean nothing. Since God is a terrible test maker, there is no reason to believe God would be a good test taker. If he was, reasoning and the scientific method would be the way to God instead of faith, which is often a catalyst for superstition and irrationality.

the whole point is to question things when they don't make sense or add up if god gets mad at that then that says something about him and not any of us here on earth
