It happens to me sometimes. I'm not sure why. Some people believe we are spiritual beings and that the earth is moving through different dimensions and we have just entered or are entering a higher dimension up. It has something to do with Ascension, but beings that live in higher dimensions have a higher vibration and the belief is that as we humans evolve we are beginning to vibrate at a higher level which is why we have these types of experiences. I have neither accepted nor rejected this theory. You can find more info about it by looking up Ascension on the Internet. Just be careful because there are a lot of quacks out there.

It could have been a train if you live close enough to train tracks. It could have been an earthquake. It could have been a truck. It could have been a poltergeist. Has it ever happened before? Played with a Oija board lately?
And by the way, it is entirely possible to remember dreams as clearly as memories.

I have had this happen before and once I woke up and I was like floating in the air. I used to think it was like demons doing it to me or something but its not. It has something to do with like your sleep patterns and brain waves. I saw a special on it on some medical show. It was actually pretty neat. This can happen to anyone. Sometimes when you wake up and your brain is on a certain wave it can make you seem like weird things are happening all around you. Just pray before you go to bed and bind the devil and it won't be able to happen to you anymore.

Daisy if you weren't entirely awake you most likely experienced a hypnogogic hallucination. They happen, sometimes along with sleep paralysis, when the brain misfires and leaves you trapped for a few moments between sleep and wakefulness. They can be terrifying, but are usually quite harmless and most everyone experiences them in some form or another during their lifetime. I wouldn't worry about it, but if it happens often or becomes frightening, contact a sleep disorder center for reassurance. Most doctors or hospitals can refer you to one.

Hi Daisy, I would be inclined to think that you experienced a tremor or two, they seem to be getting pretty frequent these days and even parts of Europe that never really experienced these before are doing so now.

This has happened to me too. At first I thought maybe the train was going by (it's about 4 blocks away), but it wasn't. I have no idea what it was. It didn't scare me exactly, just made me more curious.

I am a spiritual person, but it's unlikely that you were experiencing super-normal phenomena. You may be suffering from sleep paralysis, which causes similar effects.
