They are from the old school. If one remembers the woman at the well......

I think you catch my drift. They ignore the poor girls, causing them much distress.

I think that question should be, how does God feel about teenage pregnancy? Because the rule of a church today can be, "do not condone teenage pregnancy", but the next day or even twenty years from now the law/rule can change and they will accept it. God on the other hand does not change his mind, if He says He doesn't like teenage pregnancy (in reality it is called fornication) then His mind is made up and he won't change his mind. The Bible says do not commit any sexual immorality and that includes teenage pregnancy.

So in the end whom do you prefer to please, man or God? Whom do you live for, man or God? The Bible says do not be scared of a person who can kill only the body but be scared of the one who can destroy your body and cast your soul into hell. Man's minds always change, or they bend the rules, or make exceptions but God, you know how to please him. I hope I could help.

Catholic Social Teaching states "Belief in the inherent dignity of the human person is the foundation of all Catholic social teaching. Human life is sacred, and the dignity of the human person is the starting point for a moral vision for society. This principle is grounded in the idea that the person is made in the image of God. The person is the clearest reflection of God among us. "

I know many Catholic churches that will provide financial, emotional, and spiritual support for teenagers who find out they are pregnant. This support is available whether the girl decides to keep the baby or put the child up for adoption after it is born.

The Catholic Church first and foremost preaches celibacy for all single people including teenagers.

If the virtue of chastity is ignored and a pregnancy occurs, then the Church recommends that the teen should carry the baby to term and then give the baby up for adoption.

There are also many Catholic homes where pregnant teens can go to have their baby is peace and safety. See:

The Catholic Church feels any pregnancy outside of marriage is a terrible tragedy, but that the mother needs to receive all the support she needs to bring her child to birth.

Catholic Charities is very active in placing children for adoption in loving two- parent homes, which is where every child deserves to be. They exist in every Diocese.

It doesn't matter what the church feels. It matters what God feels. In the Bible it talks about refraining from even a hint of sexual immorality, keep from sexual immorality, adultery, fornication. Jesus said, "If you even look upon a woman to lust after her, you have committed adultery."
Check out www.biblegateway.com and do a word search (use the new testament).
Also, even "moral" people can still go to Hell. One is saved by accepting Jesus as their personal savior and lord. This is what the Bible teaches.

Hope this helps.
