It seems that you could not as science can not show proof of it.
If you do tell me why you do.

I do, but I have evidence of it.

Because atheists do not beclieve in god does not mean they do not believe in a lot of other things. While science could not prove immediately right now that ESP or any other kind of sixth sense exists, who is to say that it doesn't exist unless there is equal proof of that?

Not everything we can't see, hear, touch, taste or smell needs to be visible and know it exists, liek the age old question, "If air exists, then how come we can't see it?"
I really think people should open their minds to new things than just sticking with either religion or science, there is a third component a lot of people seem to be missing from that equation.

please tell me, what does being an atheist have to do with it? I am honestly confused by the question. Do I personally believe in it? It depends on how you define "ESP" . Do I, personally, believe that some people are more attuned to things that go beyond the 5 senses? Yea, it's called instinct. Sometimes it pays to pay attention to the things around you that tell you something is about to go wrong. Can I prove it? no.

Some do. While science may not be able to explain it now, it may be explainable at a later date. God, however, is beyond science.

I think we simply do not know the power of perception which we hold.

Same with Deja Vu

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

ESP is an extraordinary claim with virtually no evidence.

But I suppose you will tell me resistence is futile

I doubt many atheists do.

That kind of pseudo-science is more appealing to ignorant people, like fundies.
