Basically, you'll need to make a wooden box. about 2 feet long with a 12"x12" opening. Put chicken wire on one end and make a hinged door on the other end. You'll want to keep the hinged door open and have a piece of metal (old coat hanger works) go through the box to hook food too (a piece of apple works good) an the other end holding the door open. this door will need to be spring loaded. when the rabbit goes in for the apple, it'll knock the piece of metal off and the door will slam shut...
Sorry that I'm not a good writer, but feel free to ask me any questions and I'll try to explain better

DO YOU WANT TO TRAP IT TO KEEP IT ALIVE OR TO BE ABLE TO HARVEST THE BODY? THERE ARE TWO MAYBE EVEN THREE DIFFERENT WAYS I KNOW OF FIRST: http://mdc.mo.gov/nathis/woodwork/ww11/index.htm
SECOND:http://www.m4040.com/Survival/Skills/Hunting%20and%20Snaring/Snares/Rabbit%20Snare.htm I HOPE THIS IS USEFUL GOOD LUCK.
