Probably not, it depends on what you mean by "date". Spending time with a boy, going to the movies, and so on, are pretty innocent, if there's adult supervision. Going out unescorted, kissing, making out-- 11 is a little young, IMHO.
There's a lot of peer pressure to start dating early, but kids are just not mature enough, physically and emotionally, to handle the same kind of date a 16 year old would typically go on. Let them stay kids a while longer.
Forgive me, but the fact that she's dating already, and you're just now questioning if she should, indicates that maybe not as involved with these decisions as you should be. This lack of involvement may lead her to do things on dates that she and you will regret later. Maybe not at 11, but by 13 or 14. Let her wait a few more years, then start out with group dates or chaperoned dates (have her invite her guy to go along with the family to the movies, for example).

I'm sorry, 11 years old is way too young to start dating. I think she will get involved in too many adult things too early on in her life if you let her date this early. This world makes kids grow up too fast anyways, why push her into this messed up dating world? I would help her get involved in other activities that don't involve dating other guys.

No. They don't have the social maturity and it's too easy for them to see soft sex on TV and think it's ok for them. Be old fashioned and encourage them to do things in groups and with parental chaperones around. If not, you may be destined to be a grandparent before you're ready. And she may be destined for a life of stunted relationship maturity.

I would not think so because she is not old enough to under stand her self and her feelings about her and a boy and dose she know about the true resoults of sex and what that means .If she dose she will do ok but it is up to you you would know best .

nobody is too young to date.( maybe someone can be too young to love or sex)
it seems to me that she is not dating, she is making friends. why do you define its dating?
