how do i find out if somebody was born in india?

i think my nans brother was born in india in 1922 but dont know where to find out his dad was in the army

Hi,
u will have to ask for the records if he was in army then the records must be there and main problem is that can't tell that if records are safe till now or were the records were kept of that time
