Amendment III of the U.S. Constitution:
"No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."
It's one of the least cited amendments. According to the GPO, only one case has cited this (Engblom v. Carey). In 1982, prison guards in New York went on strike and the Governor activated the National Guard. Some of the prison guards rented houses from the prison, and these were used to house the National Guard troops. Two of the guards sued, saying the 3rd Amendment had been violated. The courts found that the 3rd Amendment was not violated, primarily because the prison guards did not own the property. The owner of the property did grant consent .

A little more information would be nice.
If you are talking about historical aspects, one of the reasons for the Declaration of Independence was "For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us".
Amendment III of the Bill of Rights states:"No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."
Currently, most soldiers are housed in on-base or off-base housing if they are not already homeowners or renters.

Woman can get any non combat job in the Army. As for the infantry 1. it's a combat MOS 2. due to things that occur monthly to a woman, the extended field time could cause major health problems 3. when you're in a combat zone and a fellow soldier is hurt or dead, you don't leave them behind. That in mind, imagine being your weight, then add another 60-100lbs of gear, then the weight of the soldier you're trying to carry out added to all that. Though some women could do that and I applaud them, most could not.
