No, Jesus Christ was not married. A recent popular book, "The Da Vinci Code," (you know from that movie, made out of the book) speaks of Christ being married to Mary Magdalene. This myth / lie is absolutely false and has no basis theologically, historically, or Biblically.
If Jesus had been married, the Bible would have told us so - or there would be some unambiguous statement to that fact. Scripture would not be completely silent on such an important issue. The Bible mentions Jesus’ mother, adoptive father, brothers, and sisters. Why would it neglect to even mention the fact that Jesus had a wife? Those who believe / teach that Jesus was married are doing so in an attempt to "humanize" Him, to make Him more ordinary - like everyone else. Some people simply do not want to believe that Jesus was God in the flesh (John 1:1,14; 10:30). So, they invent and believe myths about Jesus being married, having children, and being an ordinary human being. It is my view. Some people don't have to agree me, That is okay. Um, The great thing we have a freedom of speech(views) as long as we don't cross the line against other believers of various faith. We all love Jesus whether he was married or not in the different ways and he's our example to our daily everday (constructed) lives.

Who says so? The first commandment is to Love the Lord God with all your heart.

And there were 10 original commandments...none of them ordered you to marry...just not to commit adultery.

And nowhere in God's Word does it say or even imply that Jesus ever married. Since he died at about 33 years of age, and left the care of his mother to John...don't you think it would have been a little irresponsible not to mention a wife? He knew He came to die and then return to heaven.

As there was probably some dude named Jesus (seems to be a popular name) I'm sure he was married. If he was married to a man, it probably wasn't known by too many people, (Because they were far more vicious with homosexuals back then and "god" said that was a sin as well). If he was married to a woman, then a few people may know the story I'm sure!

Many people married early and young in those days!

As far as "god" and "commandments" are concerned, I will once again refer to the word "story".... simply stories!

The first commandment of God was not to eat of the Tree.

Plus, Scripture clearly says that it is permissible and even sometimes good if a man does not get married.

Plus, there is not Scriptural or other historical evidence that Jesus was ever married.

He wasnt. first commandment is to love God with all your heart. If you are refering to the first commandment God gave to humans, its given to Adam to tend the earth, not to get married. Nothing to indicate Jesus is married.

Jesus was not married to one person. However, we say that the Church is the Spouse of Jesus or God. We say Jesus is the Bridegroom but not in the literal meaning of the word. This is a mystery to me, but I heard this told to us many times. I think Jesus is the Bridegroom of the Church because He gave up His life for the Church, so that we could be saved. But he was not married to Mary Magdalen as the Da Vinci Code tried to insinuate.

I don't think so besides the first commandment according to Jesus is to Love the Lord your God with all you're heart, soul, and mind.

If Jesus had been married....don't you think there would have been complaints, "Jesus you're going to spend the weekend with that group of men.,....again......spend some time with me."

No, Jesus was not married.

You need to read the Holy Bible. You have the first commandment wrong.

While it is not directly mentioned anywhere in scripture, I agree that it would not be inconsistent with the commandments for him to have been married. Some speculate that his wife could have been Mary Magdalene. He being the Truth . the life, and the way, it would make sense.
