I'm not sure prostate cancer is life or death. it's one of the most treatable forms of cancer, isn't it? still, you must be glad that it wasn't cancerous.

I find medical people a bit hysterical and they are obsessed with medical matters. I never take them seriously unless I absolutely have to. I've been tested for all kinds of things over the years and never had any of them. None of these tests were my idea, generally they are part of 'routine' annual check-ups. Cholesterol and diabetes seem to be their favourites and when you get a bit older cancer checks are all the rage. They've got time on their hands in my opinion.

been there and done that and it was the most horrible time of my life, doctor removed a tumor, told me they thought it was cancer then took 6 weeks for the results of the biopsy, guess what it wasn't

Yes I've had to wait on test results, but the doctor never made guesstimates at my expense. I wouldn't like that.

yes,i was really ill for about a year they thought it was my heart but test and examinations cleared that it wasnt my heart, so they told me it was probably my age! and to go home , i t was just my menapause ,but i insisted they do other test.they found multiple blood clots on my lungs!! my doctor said i was a very lucky woman. if i hadnt been so insistant i wouldnt be here now!
