If you don't, then why not? Their defense is that even though we have not found ANY archeological evidence, it's because we are not looking in the right place. Your defenses of the bible contradictions are no more plausible but you accept them. Why?

First, I don't accept any Mormon view on any thing since I consider their doctrine false teachings from a false prophet much like I view Islam.

If there were ancient Jewish settlements in America, there WOULD have been some type of archaeological evidence like there is in the Middle East. Something somewhere would have been left behind and there isn't.

Not looking the right place is a common error - no LDS person thinks the events took place in the USA - most of the archaeological evidence (and there is much) is in southern Mexico and Guatemala. One evidence off the top of my head is how many ancient Olmec writings have been found in the distinctly Hebrew writing form of chyasmus.

Does Judaism even qualify as a important faith in u . s . a .? they're in elementary words a million% of the inhabitants. and more than a number of them are particularly against gays. clone of the Christians, they are not precisely united on the issue. inspite of if one hundred% of yank Jews were supportive of gays and in elementary words 5% of Catholics were gay-pleasant there might want to nevertheless be more desirable gay-helping Catholics than Jews. There are further and further Christian church homes performing gay weddings and ordaining gay clergymen and ministers, so for outright numbers the Christians are the most accepting, although also the least accepting. There are only that many Christians on both part. the most continuously accepting faith in u . s . a . is probably Unitarian-Universalism. also no longer a tremendous share of the populous, yet in case you may make a case that Judaism is between the important faiths, why no longer the UU church?

Are you kidding me??? There are many archeological sites throughout central and south America of ancient cities that were highly advanced. In fact, recent discoveries (ie the past year or two) have blurred the line between "classic" and "ancient" civilizations in places like Guatemala due to the unexpected sophistication and extensiveness of the ruins that are now being unearthed in the jungles.
