Who wants fake when you can have true prophecy in the Bible?

I don't think that you have any worries about astronomy, because it is all true. Everything in astronomy is fairly accurate, using laws that are irrefutable.
However, it sounds like you are talking about astrology, the reading of the stars to give people's horoscopes. The Bible also talks against people approaching the altar of God if they have any defects (including wearing glasses). The Bible also talks about killing anyone who works on the sabbath. The Bible also talks about the right to own slaves, and also sell your daughters into slavery. What do you think, do we follow the Bible in it's entirety or do what you are doing and picking and choosing what parts you want because they support your opinion, but disregard the rest because it would contradict or damage your opinion. Please do the typical Christian thing and state that the Bible is the word of a perfect being, but we are going to ignore certain parts because they are flawed.

Astrologers are neither soothsayers or fortune tellers. they are nothing more then a guide ... or a door to a person's subjective side of a person. it really depends on where you get your astrology from, i agree that most horoscopes today are written like they can tell the future. alot of cultures used to be completly reliant on Astrology. did all of them die off? maybe but moreso because the Abrahamic Religions scared them underground, not because they destroyed themselves.
so do i think Astrology is Wrong ... no it isn't just an ancient practice.

Yes I believe that astronomy is wrong because it uses the power of prediction- associated with witchcraft and satanism. Many people think it is just harmless fun but the reality is that it is not. The bible does talk about this and warns Christians to gaurd against this. I am sure you mean Astrology not Astronomy (which is associated with the constellations and the universe) Take Care.

I think you are correct.And that if you believe what the OT say's about these things that G-d disapproves of. You will find many other things in the OT that many christians say is not important.
Like keeping Holy the 7th day!And the High Sabbath feast of G-d over the christians pagan holidays and Christian traditions the were not and are not G-ds HOLY DAY!

Astronomy is the study of stars, planets, etc. and is a valid science.
Astrology is the belief in horoscopes and such. It is forbidden in the Christian scriputres.

I don't think Astrology is necessarily wrong as most people just see it as a harmless entertaining diversion regardless of its history -- if someone chooses to use it to make actual decisions, etc. or otherwise take it seriously then it is the person themself who is in the wrong -- quite frankly, I don't even see the entertainment value in them, I never waste the time to read them

Horoscopes are astrology, not astronomy. Yes, horoscopes are nonsense. Astronomy is fine

Satan and deamons hate God. And hate us. He and they try to undermine everything God is doing in this world. If someone wants their fortune read, or wants to believe in aliens, etc, deamons will be able to manipulate and make it look as if these things he wants to believe are real as he is. That's why God encourages us not to even dabble. Remember in the desert when Christ is being tempted by satan before His ministry officially begins? He said to satan "Do not put the Lord your God to the test." Just don't mess with it. It's serious. Satan is serious.

The fact that astrology is mentioned as something not to do does not mean that it does not "work" just that it is not the way that those given this law are supposed to operate.. I would say that for the most part, the art is lost in the modern day though.
