I feel in love with the most perfect girl ever, but the problem is she was sleeping with my best friend right before her and I started going out. This bothers me to no end, it makes me think of how bad my wedding day will be knowing my bride slept with my best man, and other things like this. Is it ok that this bothers me? What should I do? For the record my girlfriend says she really doesn't even like my best friend anymore and he feels the same, but it doesn't mean that this problem won't always come between us.
any help would be great...ideas or advice, thank you.

It was before you got together so do not let the jealousy and insecurity ruin what you have. If it is as perfect as you say it is nothing can come between you. That means YOU DON'T LET IT!!! I speak from experience on the insecurity getting in the way, the jealousy etc. Believe me man it is not worth it. And yes you should still love her, it is not like she cheated on you and like I said love, true love can handle just about anything life throughs their way.

Well if your friend and your girlfriend truly don't have any feelings for each other any more than I think everything will be fine for you. It is perfectly natural to feel uncomfortable when you are with someone your best friend used to be with. It can be awkward sometimes. But if you and your girl are truly meant to be together then all will be alright in the end. If this situation still bothers you then talk to your girlfriend about it. Or your friend. Both of them if need be one last time just to set your mind at ease. Just be honest and be yourself. Everything will be OK if you use honesty. Good luck!

it's ok that it bothers you, but you shouldn't dwell on it. If it's the only thing that bothers you about her you should consider yourself lucky. Just don't think of it. Don't talk about your sex life with your best friend because that could lead to some awkward moments. Think of him as another ex and if there's no feelings there on either end and he's ok with you dating her then I don't really see the problem.

Yeah it will probably bother you for a while, but if she really is the one and he really is your best friend and they REALLY don't feel A THING for each other anymore, then just give them space for a while. If they are not seeing each other every weekend and get on with there lives then it will simply be just another past relationship for your friend and her. Good luck

yes, you should still love her.Why? Coz you love her still, right? Do you? If you do, yes continue loving her. All the things she has done should not affect your feelings for her, coz Love is always about forgiving. Love is not shallow and easily can be discouraged. For me love is about fighting too and making it work until the end. And if you're tired and don't want to fight for it anymore, then just move on. But in your case, I think you should continue loving her not unless you don't love her anymore.

What your g/f did before you started dating is none of your concern. If your best friend doesn't make an issue of it then you don;t need to worry about that either. However, if he does you may have to choose.

It's ok that it bothers you. I would be surprised if it didn't. When people get married, past partners can be an issue. Especially in this case.
Try to get past it. If you can't, you can't make this work.
