Yes,is it true.
Long before Jehovah God created humans, he made a multitude of spirit creatures. (Job 38:4, 7) In the Bible these spirits are called angels. (Hebrews 1:13, 14) God created all of them perfect—not a single one was a devil or had any evil trait. How, then, did the Devil come to be? The word “devil” means “slanderer” and thus refers to someone who tells malicious lies about others. “Satan” means “Resister,” or opposer. Just as a formerly honest man makes himself a thief by stealing, one of the perfect spirit sons of God acted upon an improper desire and made himself Satan the Devil. The Bible explains the process of self-corruption this way: “Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.”—James 1:14, 15.
This is apparently what happened. When Jehovah God created the first human pair, Adam and Eve, the angel who was about to rebel against God took note. He knew that Jehovah commanded Adam and Eve to fill the earth with righteous people, who would worship the Creator. (Genesis 1:28) This angel saw that there was a possibility that he could gain honor and importance. Motivated by greed, he coveted what rightly belongs only to the Creator—worship from humans. Instead of rejecting such an improper desire, this spirit son of God nurtured it until it gave birth to a lie and then to rebellion. The rebellious angel used a serpent to speak to the first woman, Eve. “Is it really so that God said you must not eat from every tree of the garden?” the serpent asked Eve. When Eve cited God’s command and the penalty for disobeying it, the serpent declared: “You positively will not die. For God knows that in the very day of your eating from [the tree that is in the middle of the garden] your eyes are bound to be opened and you are bound to be like God, knowing good and bad.” (Genesis 3:1-5) The assertion was that God had not told Adam and Eve the truth. By eating the fruit of that tree, Eve would supposedly become like God, having the authority to decide what was good and what was bad. That was the first lie ever spoken. Telling it made that angel a slanderer. He also became an opposer of God. The Bible thus identifies this enemy of God as “the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan.”—Revelation 12:9.

Satan was originally named Lucifer. He was a top angel. He got a big ego and figured he could take over heaven. He even convinced 1/3 of the angels to join him in his coup attempt. He was cast down to Earth(because he is no where near as powerful as God) and his buddys too.Now they are Satan and his demons. They are going to try one more time to take over heaven and that's when all Hell will break out on Earth for a few years.Because when Michael, the chief warrior angel ,boots him back to the Earth ,Satan will know his time is short so he goes NUTS,then his end will come.

Yes....
Lucifer - who is now satan, which means ADVERSARY - used to be a CHERUB -- the highest rank for angels, but he decided that he was so perfect and beautiful that he was just going to put him-self higher than his Creator - God, of course -- and now he is tot-ally obsessed with getting back at God and has been ever since he was cast down to earth and all the angels that followed him in his rebellion are now demonic beings and they will taunt and tor-ment all who die without Jesus for all eternity, because they KNOW that God is for real and that His Word is totally TRUE and
will tell the unsaved how STUPID they were to believe all the lies of satan when they were on earth and that now they it is forever too late for them to change their minds and get saved. :-(
Read Isaiah 14. and Ezekiel 28.
Look up 23minutesinhell. and find out about the experience of one man who was allowed to experience for himself what every unsaved person is facing with every moment that passes without
knowing JESUS as their personal Savior.
Very chilling.

Yes, it is true.
He was made perfect angel, the most beautiful of all angels and became the leader of all angels.
Because he is next to God...he thought he can be like God... so he was punished and banished from heaven and live in this world. He is a fallen angel and brought down many angels too who are like him...a God`s rebels.
Please search for "Doyle Reno"...Prophecies... in internet and read many stories like this.

Good question miss! Yes Satan, and the demons who follow him were once God's angels. In fact, did you know Satan was in heaven, in God's presence? Isaiah wrote; 'How art thou fallen from heaven, luficer, thou son of the morning?'
It actually makes sense if you understand God created EVERYTHING. But when God created Satan and his angels he did not make them evil. They chose to reject Him and His plan. Our God allows us to make those kind of choices.

it depends on what you believe. but if you believe in god and satan, then yes. satan was one of gods angels, and he rebelled against him. and obviously thats not a good idea. lol. so thats why satan is the big evil persona now that everyone makes him out to be.

Lucifer was the highest ranking angel of the order of Cherubim, he was the most beautiful of all the angels, then he became enamored with his self and then he told the first lie, "We can become as God", the archangel Michael leaped forward took him down stomped on his neck and said "Who is as God?" then Michael promptly threw him out of heaven.
