My suggestion would be think of what songs mean things to you two as a couple even if it is not very romantic.
My friend recessed to the music from the award ceremony in Star Wars (episode IV) where Luke Chewbacca and Han Solo get medals from Leia.
It suited her well and got huge Grins from everyone when the short bit of recognizable theme played.
I had the song "Sunrise, Sunset" from Fiddler on the roof played while our parents were being seated. My aunt who was the usher to seat my mother sang it softly to her and it brought my Mom to tears.
Those are the two examples I can think of...Good luck.

Love songs from various Broadway musicals would be different. I've seen yahoo posts from someone doing a Phantom of the Opera themed ceremony and reception. You could also choose to use love songs from Disney movies. You could also choose music from a certain era that isn't commonly played anymore.

It depends on what type of music you like. Were doing mostly Latin music. You can do swing music, I'm not sure if you like that, but that would be cool. I also went to a wedding where they played a lot of bop music. It was fun, we enjoyed it, and the older people were dancing the whole night.

There's lots of good wedding music for organ that NEVER gets played aside from the "usual" stuff

I know a lot of people use it but Pachabel's Cannon (Cannon in D) has always been my fave. You could have it played live by a flute, violin, piano, guitar, harp or a combo. At my wedding we had it played on a piano and an organ.

I had a guitarist play the love theme from romeo and juliet. The song is called "What is a youth" but he just played the music.

i'd suggest you ask your husband-to-be to sing to you "The Last Time" by Eric Benet while in the reception. That would be romantic. though i din't know if that's unique and new. =p
