You need to provide a lot more information before you can expect to get any kind of useful answer. Start with your general geographical location. For example, if you are in Minnesota, concrete footings may need to be as much as 48" deep in order that they are below the frost line. If you are in Florida, footings are no more than a thickening of the perimeter of the garage slab (this is called slab on grade construction) because the ground does not freeze to the point where the ground heaves.

You need to specify a lot more than a "two car garage". Will your garage be free standing or will it attach to your house? Do you want one large 16' door or do you want two 8' or 9' doors. Do you want a garage that is built in a traditional manner much like the framing of your house, or will you settle for a pole type structure skinned with a metal exterior? If you choose traditional, do you want the exterior to be painted wood, vinyl siding, or brick? Many two car garages are just bid enough for two cars. Do you want extra room for lawn mowers, a work bench, and all of the other stuff people usually store in a garage? How about electrical service? How about extending your driveway to the new garage? How about a hinged access door so you don't have to use the overhead garage door every time you want to go in and out. How about a floor drain for getting rid of melting snow, ice, etc.. How about attic storage?

I am sure you get the picture. You might want to make a list of items you want to include and repost your question.

Good luck with your garage project.
