Who says it's not OK? I don't think age matters much as long as both people are mature in the relationship.

Being attracted to is ok. A short term relationship is ok. A long term relationship is gonna hit the rocks of dispair because after a while those "youth giving" cosmetics and hair dye, just don't keep up with the white hair, wrinkles, sagging skin and tooth decay. The woman is eventually going to look like his mother. Now if that don't bother the man, he has to be a little off center. If older means a year or two.. forget it and stop worrying about what people think about it.

It is okay. It's certainly not as common for an older woman to date a younger man but that is changing. Part of the problem may well be a perception (whether right or wrong) that the younger man is not doing his duty to provide for the woman. Rather, the older woman may be perceived to be taking care of the man. Sexist? Sure, but it's slowly changing.

It used to be a taboo in both cases. The older guys seeking younger ladies were labeled as perverts. Times have changed and society is slowly becoming more acceptable. People shouldn't worry if it's ok with other people, as long as it's legal and feels right to those involved what does it matter?

I'm changing my answer and being more honest.
Because women don't age as well as men. a 40 year old man is likely to still be attractive while it's less common among women. So if a 32 year old woman dates a 25 year old man, in 10 years, he'll still be on top of his game, while she'll be looking morelike his mother.

Who says that it's not okay? Society? All that should matter is how one feels for the other person. Age shouldn't be a factor at all. I mean why should people born in say 1980, only date people that were born in 1980. They don't. You can't help who you fall for and therefor, there shouldn't be an issue with it at all...well unless it's a minor, that's just sick!

well personally i think that it doesn't matter eithe rway but guys just say that and make other people think that it's not ok because guys need to be 'strong and superior' thye want to feel dominant and yadda yadda yadda they just want to be the one in charge but if you like a younger guy you can definitely date him because it's not a rule people just think that you'll be the on ein charge and hey i dated a guy younger than me and didn't feel any different and he didn't even look his age he looked like way older like two yrs older than me and when people asked our age we told them and they would be so surprised we'd be all like SO?!? so yeah don't matter

If you ever find out you should let the entire world know because women have been asking that for years.

there's always been a double standard with what men can do and what women can do. Men think they should have different rules and do things that women shouldn't do.
