Have you considered surgical help for this in India? My cousin got her surgery from a company called Forerunners Healthcare in India.
She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as all types of medical treatment and surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that your medical treatment and surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

ive had this done as my right leg was shorter than my left. its quite painful. tey break ur leg and put a cage around it, with pins going right through ur leg, through the bone and coming out the other side. Each day u have to turn a screw a little that stretches the cage and thus pulls ur broken leg further apart.it needs to be done extremely slowly to give the bone time to grow and fill the gap. there are screws on the cage allowing u to bend ur knee a little. the cage has to be kept on for two years. when u have it off u r left with scars obviously and limited knee movement. it then takes months of pysiothearpy to regain some more movement and even now (8 years later) i can't fully bend my knee. obviously its painful and u cant walk massive amounts, u would need a wheelchair to travel further than across the room for example. also alot of maintainance is needed. u cant wet the frame, or have the balance to shower so i needed to strip-wash. also the pins need daily cleaning to wipe off all the pus around the pins from ur leg. it int pleasant. also u would probably only gain 2 inches maximum from this. 165cm is like 5'7 so why r u worrying?
