I prefer a quote I heard on Mythbusters: "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

After all, reality is a subjective experience. ;-))

Good quote, and I'm not sure where it came from either. I like it. Reality can be harsh at times. We need a healthy imagination to get through sometimes. A place in our mind that we make up where we can escape without the pressures of daily life. I love the books by Mercedes Lackey - the Valdamar Series. While reading them I felt like I could truly live there and be a part of that world. I'm sure if you let reality interfere with your imanagination, there wouldn't be very many good books out there.

A parallel that has been a favorite of mine is

Don't let your schooling interfere with your education.

There is a freedom of spirit that can be precious, as long as it is not stamped out by negative forces.

Imagination makes you dream and reality makes you work hard to fullfill your dreams.

If you do not dream you will never work hard.

So You must have imagination, but you have to persue your imagination into the existance through reality.

I think I have wrote what I want to, hope you will understand.

Don't let reality limit your protential. Imagination can be very creative, if you keep thinking about reality, you will lose the ability to imagine creative ideas.

I like it, but think sometimes imagination should be used lightly, like room fragrances. If we overuse our imagination, reality and good judgement can become clouded. There's a time and place for everything. ;)

That's a good one. My favorite is "Don't be a pedestrian in your own life." I think I heard that in a movie or read it in a book, in any case it really speaks to me.
