I'd definitely have to say I'd rather have loved and lost. Because, if you haven't loved, then you haven't experienced what's possibly the best part of life!

Definately loved and lost. To have never loved at all is sadder than the thought of losing a love. At least by having loved, you've experienced the feeling. I've lost a child, best friend and somewhat distant relatives but if I had it all to do over, I would it all the same. The memory of that love will never die!

I would have rather loved and lost because at least I would have had the chance to be with him for the time I was with him and have our memories forever in my heart.

Great question!
Loved and lost simply because I would not want to wonder what love was like and why it never "happened" to me.

If I hadn't loved and lost, I never would have discovered the joys of singlehood and the futilities of romantic love. So it's a good thing after all.
