i want to dye my hair. im currently bleach blonde on top with dark underneath, and my roots are awful, i just want to back to being dark for a while, less maintenance. what hair colours would u recommend for putting onto bleached hair? (im also 11 weeks pregnant)

Go to a pro, he/she can use hanna on your hair which won't harm your baby and will change your hair color to your chose. I know where your coming from you can see my roots as well, but , I am just going to let it grow out,but I dyed my brown hair red so you can't see it to bad. Good Luck!

Your best bet for getting a realistic color is to go to a stylist who specializes in color. Dying hair that is bleach blonde can be difficult to do on your own. The current color of the hair can (and often will) alter the color you are trying to apply. To avoid a crazy "uh oh" color, I'd just break down and pay a pro. Besides, corrections are way more expensive.
As for being pregnant: it is ok to dye your hair. Again, I'd recommend a pro, to be sure you are getting quality color chemicals and not too much exposure (if you're worried). Just don't eat the dye :)

I am glad I am not the only one who has done this or will. I am 7 months pregnant and yes it is ok to dye your hair. The products they used to put in dyes is no longer available. I am a dirty blonde and have gone through mulitple colors and finally ended with a natual Brown. If you know your natural color you can go a couple shades darkers or just stay with with your natural. Try to match the color as best as you can with your roots. It will help with the one color situtation and you wont have to worry about your roots coming in a different color
