Using a baking stone helps a lot. Metal pans overbrown the biscuits before they get fully done & the metal reflects the heat which will harden them.

Here is how to make some delecious walnut biscuits:

Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup grated walnuts
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
salt
icing sugar

Method: Mix butter and sugar together.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Mix it along with the walnuts in the butter mixture.

Make a soft dough out of it. Roll half to about 1 inch thickness and then cut into squares.

Bake on a greased tray in the oven. Remove, dust with icing sugar.
Enjoy munching your way out!
