Try T-Gel from Neutrogena. It might take a couple days but it works well for an itchy scalp. If that doesn't help, talk to your doctor who can prescribe a strong shampoo.

This might sound too simple, but if it is itching due to dryness (usual cause),,,try warming a bit of olive oil in a bowl and applying it to your scalp liberally. Wrap a towel around your head and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo, preferably with a baby shampoo; as this is less harsh. You may have to shampoo twice to get all oil out but this should take care of itching. This is gross but has any one made certain you have no head lice, as these little buggers will cause you to itch, too. God bless
