Does anyone have one, if so what do you think of it? I have seen them in store with DVD pictures and they look great but what is the TV picture like?

I work at an electronics store, and we sell Sony LCDs. They are incredibly reliable compared to most brands out there, and the picture quality is amazing. As far as standard definition signals go, though, you will notice alot more flaws in the new HD sets. The reason is that these sets have a much sharper picture, and weak signals will be more noticeable on them. Most programming is moving to HD format, though, so that shouldn't be a problem for long.

I have recently bought a 52 inch LCD Hitachi and picture is superb and better with HD programming. The sales person has highly recommended the Sony B TV. The life of Plasma is short compare to LCD but the picture is better. LCD last long and it is cheaper and the projection bulb once change after 15-20 years the performance is like new. Sony has name for better quality but all the TV are made by some other companies in far east.

I'd recommend getting a 32W2000, they are a better quality version in terms of number of pixels and will show up pictures a lot better because they use a more advanced bravia engine to power the lighting and colours, even tv pictures will be great which if going through a scart will not be perfect but still better than standard TV's

Don't listen to anyone about Plasmas, go and watch them in store next to an LCD, they are no comparison, that's why they are so cheap and also use up three times as much electricity.

LCD is gearing to 1080i, regular DVD is only 480. Most of the Sony LCDs perform 1080--only with HD channels.

I guess you saw them in store is HD DVD or Blu-ray, they are 1080i.

I have owned a LCD and a Plasma.. the plasma is better, cheaper and produces a better picture for TV, but nothing will compare to DVD quality with either one (except true digital HD channels)

v series is THE best 32" inch lcd on market, but the model number indicates that it is an OLD one, they have brought a new one out that has better connections.

THE difference between s and v series is the v has a spva panel ( splits the coulours from the pixels, phropuros white background, therefore white iwhite and true colours are ture colours, enhanges the detail, and the software manangment is better.

GO FOR IT

ALL THE BEST WG
