I have been with the same girl for at least 9 months, and I am sure I'm not in love with her. I don't think I will ever fall in love with her. I am already 22. I still like her and attracted to her though. Is there a way to take it another step so I will fall in love with her? She told me she loved me a lot of times. I didn't know what to reply to that. I can't tell her I love her because she probably wants me to and I'm not in love with her.

take a little break, see if you miss her and that maybe you'll know after not being with her for awhile.. don't lead her along becasue shes thinkin things are ok and evreythnig that's just wrong.. figure out if you do really care about her, if not don't force it.. love shouldn't be forced.. things will never work out that way.. and why make both of you unhappy being in a realtionship that neither of you ultimatly want because you'll always be thinking of getting out of it, and she'll always be wanting more love from you.. good luck man, realtionships are so tricky

Just tell her that you really care for her, but your not at that level yet. Tell her that she should have patience with you. If she doesn't want to do that, then maybe it is time to let her go. If you don't think you'll ever fall in love with her then maybe you need to find someone else that peaks your interest more.

Sweetie, if it hasn't happend yet I don't think it's going to. My now husband, told me he loved me a week after our first date. If you have been together for almost a year and you aren't thinking about marriage and kids (somewhere in the future) then she is not the one for you. You need to let her go. She obviously loves you and you don't want to hurt her. So tell her how you feel so you can both move on.

time to be honest with her and let her know it's not going to work about for the long term for the two of you; you can't make yourself fall in love with her if you aren't..... don't string her along; you are too young for either of you to waste your time
