It depends on your hair too if they are short then u should buy a 2" ceramic plate straightener. if they are long u can buy either 2" or 4".

before buing it i used to use clothes iron on my hair. It works well to. But if you have short hair then it is not good solution. I used to straighten my long hair with clothes iron by leaning down at bed and flattening my hair on bed and then ironing like clothes. Ha Ha

This sounds a little weird but but if you don't want a permanent straight in your hair you can go to target, walmart, and any other store to pretty much and look for a 3 in 1. It contains a Straighting Iron, curler and, whatever else. It is your choice but the straighting iron works good.
