Just wondering- I use "chopped meat", my BF says the other two. It confused me like crazy this morning when planning dinner. OK thanks!

cubed steak is NOT chopped meat. Cubed steak is a piece of steak tat was tough nd fatty, pounded out with a meat tenderizer mallet type thing. The best way to cook a Cubed Steak so that its tender and can cut it with a fork is:
In a frying pan add the cubed steak, I add a little garlic powder, sliced onions and worcestershire sauce to flavor it and add about a cup of water to the pan, and cover it and bring to a boil then turn heat down and let it simmer in the water, the juice from the meat with season the water , simmer for about, half hour to 45 minutes then I add a jar of beef, muhroom or AuJus gravy and serve it with mashed potatoes.
Chopped meat is like SPAM YUK!!!! lol its bits of peices f meat mushed together.

I always buy the Minute Steak because chopped steak is always tough and seems to have more fat.

As long as it's not tube steak. I think that your boy friend is referring to this kind of steak.
