Hi, Darnell! If you had a paid tax preparer for the last three years, they should have access to copies (and if they do, the returns are legally yours and they cannot refuse to give them to you). If you either can't contact the preparer(s), prepared your own returns, or filed online, you can contact the IRS directly to request either a complete copy or a transcript.
If you need the full details, a complete copy can be requested using Form 4506 and costs $39; bear in mind that this can take up to 60 days. If you don't need an exact copy of your return but only the various figures (AGI, etc), transcripts can be obtained for free using Form 4506-T; they only take about two weeks.
Please check out the IRS links below for more details. Happy hunting!! :-)

Dear Ms. Fender, Hello. I am a tax attorney and used to work for the IRS. If I can read your question and all the details, so can the IRS. There are people from the IRS who read these questions. You have posted details that should not be said in public. Please delete this question immediately. You are providing the IRS with ammunition to use against you. Contact a tax professional in your area. If you have been contacted by the IRS, you definitely need professional advice. Because of the amounts, I doubt that you have been contacted by IRS Special Agents who do the criminal cases. If by chance you have been contacted regarding a criminal investigation, talk with an attorney only. No CPAs. No return preparers. No H & R Block. Just a tax attorney. In all likelihood, this is a civil matter, any tax professional can help you. Regards,

If an accountant diid your taxes, he may have copies. Other wise try calling 1-800-1040 I think that is the number. If you have a book for this year It should be in the back of the book.

Use Form 4506 at www.irs.gov. It may take a few months. If you paid someone to do them they may still have copies too.
