The food in Germany is great and I think that she will have no problem finding something. Supermarkets in major towns have a really good range of foods, but it might be a good idea to know what to ask for in German in case she strikes someone who doesn't speak her language. She should be fine, its great. I loved Germany. I am Australian.

Call the Air line that she will be traveling with, they can tell you. Then contact Fed X, they will tell you how to package anything that she couldn't take on the plane. Send the food as often as she needs it. Ask about their Same Day and Next Day service and Fees. There are even Resturants and other buisnesses that mail their products like this.
I'm a picky eater too!

You typically can not bring fruit or non-pasteurised dairy products into the country. You will have to throw them out at the baggage claim before clearing customs. Canned or bottled foods are usually ok.

No meat, fish or dairy products unless they are canned. No home-made foods. Germany has great supermarkets. She can almost certainly buy everything she needs when she gets there.

if she checks her suitcase in she can take anything - i live in berlin and often bring back many different german foods for friends and family and the last time my mother in law came over she bought (i kid ye not!) black and white pudding, bacon, sausages, a couple of home made cakes and a fresh lasagne!
