How was that process, the Cuidad Juarez part, and how recent ago was your appointment there? were you allowed back in the US, did you have to file a 601 Waiver and wait, how long was your wait, I'm wanting to know your story. My hubby is facing this process and we are wondering what to expect. Thanks so much.

yes I'm a US citizen by birth, an now days even if you are married that does not automatically make your spouse a US Citizen.

I ve seen you on immigrate2us.net, and trust me Y!A is no better info source. Mostly you will get hatre speech. Anyway, try websictes luike
Visajourney dot com, britishexpats dot com (they have links to a lot of immigration forums, including US).

VJ is a good one - a lot of people put their real stroies, huga archive and a lot of timelines giving. From what I know, it takes 2-3 years if I-601 apporved. Write it properly, good news approval rate is high. (probably highest comparing to any other consulate). People reported 9 month on average on I-601. Good luck with that.

Where is Cuidad Juarez? If you are legally married why isn't he automatically a citizen? i guess I am ignorant of our cra@@y imagration laws. Are you a US citizen?
