2 or 3 days between writing/sending in England and receiving in an American Prison. This depends on the time of year - at Christmas it can take 2 or 3 months.

Does anything even go by "boat mail" anymore? I think almost everything is airmail these days by default, especially from UK-USA. Don't worry about it, especially if you paid the right postage. I haven't had anything accidentally go by "boat mail" in 25 years.

I don't know. but recently had a book i ordered delivered from texas USA to somerset england and that took 7 calendar days from and including the day i placed the order.

Even within the US, some places are known for being slower with delivering the mail--it might depend on where in the US.

depends where in the us. if it is to a big city like NY of LA then a few days. if it is to a small town then mabee up to a week!
