We are planning on throwing a birthday party for my pop, he will be turning 75. We will probably be having over 30 people there, if not a whole lot more. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. thanks

so far I'm thinking of a photo montage. a blank book for people to sign and put thoughts in. Probably will have a DJ . would it be wrong to have a raffle or a 50/50?

A wonderful and specially prepared lunch, served by professional people and inviting close friends and family. Not too much excitement nor boring, normal b. parties. Make it special, coz he is special to you.

Tell him, for me: HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAP & MANY HAPPY RETURNS!!

All the best!/

A very special cake - favorite cake and icing and it doesn't have to be huge and expensive because you could place two of his favorite deserts on the table. That way people who don't prefer cake can choose something else.

Do any of his friends sing? Borrow a karaoke system and have his best friend sing some favorite tunes. It would also be cool to put together a barbershop quartet.

Have everyone bring a dish to pass to keep the cost of food low so more can be spent on the festivities, decorations, etc. Don't forget some may be diabetic.

Are you renting a hall with a dance floor? Some ballroom studios have people who will come in and perform a ballroom dance and also give a group lesson to everyone present.

Good luck to you and hope your father enjoys his 75th :)
