Low carb beers, still have carbs. I had this problem a few years ago, Vodka has no carbs. You can mix it with diet soda, I really like coke and sprite zero. You can also mix with water, soda water, tonic. The problem here is lemon and lime have carbs. I went with vodka and diet coke. Most bars don't carry diet sprite. Good luck, and whatever you drink, it's only one night.

I think the best alcohol for you to stick with is vodka. You can mix this with either cranberry juice or orange juice or a combination of both. Don't worry the cranberry juice taste sweet when combined with vodka. If you would like some drink ideas check out http://www.giftwrapandmore.com and look under mixed drinks and party drinks for some recipes. Good luck and have fun at your party.

As a parent I wasn't happy when I found out my 14 year old son was drinking, but I was glad that we had enough communication between us that we could talk about it. That was 26 years ago and we can still talk about anything. Frequent drinking at your age is definitely an early sign of alcoholism or other chemical dependence. Talk with your Mom, get it out in the open. And remember - half the things you think she'll freak out over, she and/or her friends were probably also doing at your age. Her trust in you may slip a little, but if you are open and honest with her you can recover your trust.

Dry white wine, or champagne brut.

The added advantage is that the cost keeps down the number of drinks... hehehe.

It is true that hard liquor has a lowest count in carbs though, but then you have to count the soda (even diets have a count..).

Avoid beer to all cost. Each has 12 to 15 carbs!!!!

I don't understand why you have to drink, but that is neither here nor there, is it. Why not just drink sparkling water. Always a good choice, and you can be the designated driver ... a bonus.
