I think we loose touch with our own inner child. I tell my mom that my son acted in a certain manner.....She rolls her eyes and says, " SOUNDS FAMILIAR"!!! She laughs, " YOU DID THE EXACT SAME THING WHEN YOU WERE THAT AGE"!!!Parents just can`t face reality and accept that kids do implusive things..But so did they. KIDS ARE KIDS!!My son locked himself out of the house, ( I don`t know how many times). LOL, I think I remember calling my mom to come get me or open the door cause I did the same thing!!

You know what? I think it's because you didn't give birth to them. Honestly I find almost every other child I know besides my own to be annoying to some degree. Before I had kids my tolerance was much higher for children. The whiny voice thing is horrible. I have a neighbor girl who speaks whine. I can't stand it. The worst is when your kids start picking up the annoying habits of others. The whining or certain gestures. Your right, there will be more. At least you know it will take a little while for you to be as annoyed with the knew bunch as you are with the old.

I think that it depends upon what the child is doing. Wouldn't it be annoying to you if you told someone a hundred times to stop doing something that wasn't good for them and they continued to do it anyway. Now that's annoying. Annoying does not mean the parent doesn't love their children. I feel you may have it mixed up with if you love someone, then how can they annoy you. When my son was young, he was always playing jokes on me and if I was busy doing something else, then it became annoying.I hope you get the picture of what annoying can mean to some parents.

They probably don't find them annoying all the time...just sometimes. Think about it...has there ever been a time where your parents were on your case for doing your chores or doing your homework? You probably thought they were annoying. It's a normal thing. That's what happens when you are around the same people all the time. I just got married and I love my husband with all my heart and would never give him up for anything. But, there are times where he annoys the heck out of me. Like when he leaves the wet towel on the bed.
I really wouldn't worry about it to much....it happens to everyone.

I know I found my children annoying sometimes. You are 14 you know how aggravating it is to have a little brother who is always in your things, always listening to your conversations, never giving you any privacy. Well sometimes parents feel that thier kids are doing that to them. Some Moms with little kids never even get a bath without the child in the room. So sometimes it is that way but fortunately not all the time!

It's in a sort of good way - and we love our children absolutely unconditionally. I have a 1.5 yr old and she whines SOOOO much. It gets REALLY annoying but it's not like I just ignore her I try to make her feel better... because I love her and I don't want her to have to whine. Maybe that's why she whines... cause she's getting her way... hmm... anyways - don't let this bother you. It's not the same kind of annoying as a stranger who won't quit whisteling or a kid kicking your seat behind you and so on... your parents love you even if you're annoying. :)

It's waht the kids are doing that is annoying. It is hard to watch you kid make a decision, when you know they could pick better. Also sometimes parents are really tired and need some down time.

They don't find their kids annoying, just somethings the kids do are annoying. My middle son likes to make weird noises, they are loud and he doesn't care where we are when he does them, yes it is annoying.

Yes they do. My parents do too and I admit it. Many parents do because their kids ARE annoying.
