My wife who is on antipsychotics and antidepressants for more than 8yrs and also has been reported for gout has suddenly developed low platelet elevated esr and uric acid level, her Hb too is close to 9.5gm/dl also the wbc count is low what does this signify?

Well, the gout is caused by the elvated uric acid. The low platelets, low WBC, and low Hb (i.e. anemia) are pretty consistent with myelosuppression, which is when blood-cell precursors in the bone marrow are inhibited from replicating. This might be an emerging side-effect of one the drugs she's taking.

Alternatively, she may have some kidney dysfunction that may be causing the lowered levels of blood cells, as well as the gout. I would ask your doctor about it.
