Accidents shouldn't matter as long as it was repaired properly to its original specs. It seems like the dealer is just trying to find a reason to lowball your trade. Try another dealer.
But you should have run a Carfax report prior to purchase.... $10 would've saved you a headache and apparently lots of money.

“As is” does not usually hold up in court. I guess it depends on how far you want to take this.
Check with your local Auto Dealer’s Association to see if they have a consumer protection group or arbitrator.
If it is a large new car dealer, you may get some results. If it is a small “dirt lot” used car dealer, you might have to go to court.

there isn't much you can do at this point without having to go to Small Claims court for a losing battle.
what you CAN do, is become a better educated consumer for the future by doing your homework on a vehicle before buying it. Do the carfax issue thing YOURSELF next time.
Carfax is a good tool, but it doesn't guarantee 100% either so in the end it's really all just a risk anyway.

each and all of the suggestions have their experts and cons. in case you flow to a broking you're probable to get a greater valuable subject motor vehicle however the fees would be inflated via maintenance they did on it. In a motor vehicle lot the subject isn't as sturdy yet with the decrease expenditures that's greater much less high priced so which you are able to have the smaller matters repaired. i'd steer away from craigslist. automobiles there are generally bought via persons and that they'd positioned any fee on any motor vehicle and say something related to the subject.

well you bought it as is, and in some cases you would be stuck with it, you can get your money back, go to the dealer, and explain your problem, tell him you are aware of the lemon law, and are prepared to sue him. if he doesnt help you get a new car, or rufund your money, file a small claims suit against him

Probably not. When buying used, you should always do a Carfax search first. Good Luck

If the dealer had records of the accident and didn't disclose it, then yes you can probably sue them, but good luck proving that.

AS IS is AS IS.
Buyer beware. You can try going back to the original dealer to see if they will cut you some slack, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

unfortunately, if it was sold as-is, you messed up by not checking it out, unless the title is a Salvage or Reclaim title, then you may have recourse.
