I don't, but my friend does. Her little guy is 9 years old and has such short legs that he gets tired when she does a lot of walking. It sure does get hot here in Fl. in the summer so the street walk is very hot on his little paws. The stroller does look silly, but so does the little visor cap the dog wears! Good for a laugh.

I actually bought a stroller for my puppy. I have a Peke, and when I first got her, I would take her out for a walk - and still do, daily, but at first she couldn't get too far because her small legs would tire out. I live in a small town and do a lot of walking for exercise - usually around 3 miles at a time. My Peke of course, couldn't walk that far at once, so I bought a Graco stroller and let her ride while I walked. Don't get me wrong - a pet needs exercise, and I take mine out everyday, if possible, for a good 30 minute walk. But when I want to go for a really long walk - she gets to ride "in style". I bought a real baby stroller instead of the dog kind, because it was less expensive. I still put her on a leash though, even when she rides.

I don't have one, but my friend has one for her mini dachshund. They're really nice to have when taking your dog somewhere because your dog can sleep, won't get tired, and will behave better. They work realy well, and they fold up really well, too. Also, If you want to take your dog to a place that normally would not allow dogs on a leash, you can usually have them in there with a stroller. The dog strollers are really nice, and they usually range from between $50 and $100. You can find really nice ones at http://justpetstrollers.com. Hope this helps!

THE STUPIDEST INVENTION YET for dogs. How ridiculous. We have gone so far as to put dogs in strollers. They have 4 perfectly good legs and we are taking that away from them too because we have babied the crap out of them and now we need to carry them or put them in bags or strollers. I know of someone who has 2 of them and I almost threw up when I saw them being pushed in it. What is the problem here? Why do we not RESPECT our dogs and treat them like dogs? What were these dogs doing before all the idiots with the strollers came alone and tried to baby them to death? Why, they walked of course, what a concept. Leave the dogs alone, they were meant to WALK and run and exercise and hunt and chase and be DOGS. And I don't care how short their legs are and how long their ears are either. Those are the same bodyparts they had before you came alone with the stupid strollers and they were doing fine without you.

I would like one for my Japanese Chin because this breed is mostly a couch potato and I like the fact that if she comes with me in one I don't have to worry about my arm dropping off cause that carrier is sure heavy even without my pooch in it.
I have seen them but havnt been able to get my hands on a pet stroller as yet. For now its just dog carrier bags.
Could someone list some sites that sell them?
I think they are kool

Hehe I've seen those and personally I think what is the point of walking your dog and putting him in a stroller. Besides, it looks just plain silly

Not here, my Border Collie would chew my foot off if I ever attempted to put her in one and not let her move for herself, lol!
Seriously, I think that for someone who has to walk a bit of distance but maybe has a smaller dog that can't keep up as much, they're not a bad idea. Take a long walk with dog, dog gets tired, but you still want to walk, the dog can ride and rest and walk again in a little while.
My dogs are all too big for something like that.

I'm not sure what is worse, strollers or doggie-handbags. (Let's not EVEN talk about dressing them up!).
The point of taking the dog for a walk is to give it exercise. If it gets tired, pick it up and carry it, but none of that fu-fu Paris Hilton "I have a matching dog bag for every outfit" stuff for me!

Lets stop and think of the logic....a dog has 4 legs, and is much more efficient than walking than we are...how will they get any exercise in a "stroller?" What kills me is people will put their dog in one of these to "keep it safe" but refuse to put it in a crate. ugh.....strollers are for humans.
