I am fourteen, I weigh 113 pounds, and I am 5 feet 4 1/2 inches. I want to get down to 105 pounds by summer so I will look good in a bathing suit. My friend is 5 feet three inches and it makes me feel bad b/c she weighs 90 pounds and has a chest too. I don't want to be 90 pounds I just want to be 105. Does anyone have some diet tips for me?

Please keep in mind that your body is still growing.

If you want to lose 8lbs, thers probably not much anybody can do to stop you. And in reality, its always good to make healthy lifestyle changes in your diet.

Instead of eating chips, have some veggies and dip. Likewize, instead of cookies...have fruit! These arent just changes that you should make to lose 8lbs, these are changes that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

I know that when i was 14, the movies and the mall were basically my life - there really wasnt much else to do. If you're trying to lose weight, and you're like I was at 14...instead of going to the movies on a Friday night...go to the mall. That way, you'll be walking around!!. Do you have an indoor pool near by? go for a swim(or if you live in the warmer parts of the world, you dont need the indoor pool). Exercise is always good for your body. Again, not just to lose weight - but exercise is a great way to keep your heart healthy and it'll boost your mood!!

Good luck, and be careful! Dont forget that your body and bones are still growing!

I am 33 years old and went down that track of only wanting to lose this much to weigh such and such a weight. It turned into a full blown eating disorder that I battle everyday. Your body is already bikini ready at 113 pounds. A person who is 5'4" usually clocks in at 120 depending on bone structure. 105 is far too low and you are not going to look good in a bathing suit when you look like a skeleton.
Unfortunately, your friend sounds like she has anorexia....she might be naturally that thin but I doubt it.....at 113 you're fine albeit underweight. Add some exercise that makes you feel strong.
Resistance training and cardio will give you definition and that looks hot on anybody. Please don't go down this road. The number on the scale means nothing, it's how you feel that matters.

stop worrying. I'm a year younger than you and i way A TON more than you. you should be glad you are only 113!

less carbs.. exercise thrice a week.. doesnt need an extensive exercise.. walking 30mins and jogging 15mins will do..
avoid processed and oily foods.. vegetables salad would be great.. im sure u will loose just in 1 month..

to young to diet what do you want to do mess up you metabolisim 8 pounds is water weight easy to lose talk to your mom

i am exactly the same size as you and people always think im too thin. so dont worry about your body.
